Passo del Tonale
Over 100 km of slopes connecting, ski-in/ski-out, Passo del Tonale, Ponte di Legno and Temù in the Ponte di Legno Tonale Ski Area.
Welcome to Passo del Tonale, a world of Nature and Outdoor Adventures!

Situated at 1,884 meters above sea level, Passo del Tonale is one of the most fascinating and complete alpine destinations in the Alps. A natural gateway between Trentino and Lombardy, it separates the Ortles-Cevedale range from the Presanella, offering breathtaking landscapes and a wide range of experiences designed for those who love the mountains in every season.
In winter, Passo del Tonale is synonymous with skiing: over 100 km of perfectly groomed slopes in the Ponte di Legno Tonale Ski Area, the Presena Glacier for skiing until late spring, and a lively atmosphere with mountain huts, après-ski venues, and state-of-the-art rental shops and ski schools. Non-skiers can enjoy panoramic snowshoeing, snowmobile excursions, or moments of pure relaxation surrounded by snowy nature.
In summer, Passo del Tonale becomes a paradise for hikers, mountain bike enthusiasts, and families. Trails starting directly from the village lead to alpine lakes, mountain huts, and postcard-worthy views, while the fresh climate and pure air provide a regenerating escape from the city heat.
The Ponte di Legno Tonale Ski Area is part of the Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta ski carousel!

Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta is a ski carousel in western Trentino that includes, in addition to Tonale and Ponte di Legno, 6 other major resorts, among them:
- Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo

- Pejo
- Andalo-Fai della Paganella (Paganella Ski)
- Monte Bondone
- Alpe Cimbra with Folgaria-Lavarone
With a single ski pass, the Super Skirama, you can access over 380 km of slopes and 150 ski lifts. Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta is one of the largest ski areas in Europe.

Fantaski, the Snow Playground
Fantaski is the baby snowpark located in Passo del Tonale, designed for children and families. Here, little ones can approach skiing safely on two blue slopes with conveyor belts, or have fun with sleds, bobs, snow tubing, and colorful inflatables. There is also an entertainment service, miniclub, and babysitting, so parents can leave their children in good hands while they enjoy the slopes or a moment of relaxation.

Panoramic helicopter tour
Flying over the snowy mountains by helicopter is a breathtaking experience. From sparkling glaciers to jagged ridges, the landscape takes on a completely new perspective when seen from above. Panoramic flights depart from the resort and allow you to admire the entire Adamello range from the sky, making every holiday even more unforgettable.

Ice skating
Whether you’re an experienced skater or a beginner, ice skating is an experience not to be missed. At Passo del Tonale, you can glide joyfully across the ice rinks, surrounded by snow-covered mountains. Music, alpine atmosphere, and skate rental options make this activity perfect for families, couples, and groups of friends looking for a different afternoon or an alternative après-ski.

Presena Glacier
With over 100 km of interconnected slopes between Passo Tonale, Presena Glacier, Ponte di Legno, and Temù, the Adamello Ski Area offers runs for everyone (blue, red, and black). The legendary Paradiso slope stretches for 3 km with a 700 m vertical drop, from the spectacular glacier scenery down to the village below. Ideal for both beginners and expert skiers.

Snowmobile excursions
Experience the thrill of speeding through alpine landscapes on a snowmobile, either driving or as a passenger, along safe routes that cross forests, plateaus, and snowy slopes. The excursion can end with a traditional dinner in a mountain hut, for a complete experience that combines adrenaline, nature, and flavor. An ideal activity also for those who don’t ski but want to discover the winter mountains in a different way.

Snowshoe excursions
Walking on fresh snow with snowshoes is the most authentic way to connect with the winter mountains. Marked trails and guided routes with alpine guides lead you to discover enchanted forests, silent clearings, and breathtaking views. It is an activity suitable for everyone, perfect also for those seeking a slower and more regenerating pace, far from the hustle and bustle of the slopes.

Sleddog
Let yourself be carried on a sled pulled by huskies in an experience that recalls the wide open spaces of the far north. Sleddog at Tonale is an exciting activity in close contact with animals, allowing you to experience the mountains in a unique way. After a brief introduction, you can take the lead of the sled or enjoy the ride as a passenger, guided by the dogs’ instinct and the magic of the snowy landscape.

Snowkite
Snowkiting is the meeting point between skiing or snowboarding and a traction kite: pulled by the wind, you move across the snow with absolute freedom. It is a dynamic and spectacular sport, perfect for those who already have good skills on the snow and are looking for an extraordinary experience. The wide snowy expanses of Passo del Tonale are ideal for practicing snowkiting safely, under the guidance of qualified instructors.

Fat Bike on the snow
Thanks to their wide, treaded tires, fat bikes make it possible to ride even on snow. At Tonale, you can rent these special bikes and join guided excursions or venture onto snowy trails through forests and plateaus. It’s an alternative and fun way to experience the winter mountains, also suitable for those who don’t ski but still want to actively explore the area.

Kart and Ice Track
At Passo del Tonale, you can experience the thrill of driving a car or a kart on an icy track, learning to handle skids and curves on low-grip surfaces. It’s an adrenaline-filled yet safe activity, also useful for improving your driving skills in real winter conditions. An unusual experience designed for adults and motor enthusiasts.
